NCCF, oh NCCF, a place to be, a quarry site, a place of breaking and remoulding, a place I never regret being. Where I thought I could never stay cos of the quest to live on my own.

Oh! How time flies, it was just like yesterday that this journey started and now it has come to an end.

NCCF, where I got to know and feel the love radiating from different tribes — the Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Edos. Ishans Urhobos, Itsekiris, Tivs, Idomas, Akwa Iboms, Calabars etc.

A place for all tribes where impact is made in the lives of men, where people step into, and with the right disposition don’t leave without having an impact. A place where love is felt everyday through the family song, praise sessions, and all other activities. What a unity in diversity!

One big family indeed where I got to meet men of wisdom and women of virtues. People with a humble heart, men who use their all (time, strength and money) for the service of the Lord. Men with passion for lost souls. Men propelled by a vision. What a place to be.

Finally the time has come
The awaited time for a shift to be made
The long awaited certificate now in my hands
But a different feeling now I have

Men come and men go
But NCCF still never dies
The hoisted banner never brought low
To depopulate hell and populate Heaven

An admiration on my mind many have stamped
Whose humble nature I still can’t fathom
Whose words of wisdom kept me wonder
For God has so pruned and dealt with many.

This moment I have a nostalgic feeling
For this lovely people I may never see again
Tears drop down my cheeks when I ponder
The wonderful times we’ve spent together

Though I may not be your perfect friend
But in one way or the other we’ve helped each other
I’m consoled by the fact that we’re moving higher
Into the world to make a great impact

The words we’ve heard, and the ones we’ve preached
I pray they never leave us once we leave
But may they help us to go through life
And conquer challenges that come our way

The world may bring limes our way
Let’s focus on turning them all to smiles
So whenever we wake each morning with our dreams
The devil will shout “Oh! Crap (s)he’s up

Stay hot!
Stay focused!!
Keep the vision alive!!!

I miss you all, I miss NYSC,
I miss NCCF which made NYSC enjoyable.
