The TRUTH

Sometimes you’ve got to tell yourself the truth

Things might not seem the way they appear

Life is not always a bed of Roses

All you imagine can be and may not

Just trust God and live in the process

All is possibilities, so many great possibilities

We know that our strength could fail us.

We know that friends could disappear

but we look up, dust our shoes and keep at it,

Not fearing what would hereafter be.

I wonder how small life could be

and how large our bucket of experiences.

Look how far we’ve gone

All we were and ever could be

Even in all weaknesses and adversity

Lies our great strength for expansion.

We’ve got to tell ourselves the truth

We were the living witnesses of those things

And then in all, before, now and after

We know, that in part we knew

And that all we yearn could appear.

If only we could tell ourselves the truth

And hold on, indeed we’ll live and fulfill

With full faith all expectations and manifestations

I know you could tell yourself the truth
