We considered space travel and yeah, not so bad.

“I’ve got a space ship hovering outside,
the engines running”. You can hop in
or trust Elon Musk’s stainless steel rocket
can orbit in the next six months.
We can leave behind a trail of burnt
brick and mortars forever, twenty-one
and bankrupt laughing at retail
dreams in fast fashion.
No longer having to wonder
if we really can see the Great Wall from space
but rather the blue smoke
Hong Kong police fired upon protestors.
