Or a mystery.

I’ve lost the scent was heaven sent
It’s merged into the tapestry
The mist too has evaporated
Into irregular disparity.

Mind games or a mystery
It’s hard to tell the difference
In elemental language
It makes much better sense.

One minute up the next I’m down
Contrasts and discrepancies
The gap and gulf, and the abyss
Add to the disparities.

Up above in the blue
Riders in the the sky
Clothed in clouds of divergence
The hooves thunder on high.

I’m standing and disbanding
My heart can’t feel the rhythm
The reasons and the why’s
Are far too deep to fathom.

The ship has weighed her anchor
And blown out of sight
Where have all the sailors gone
Into the merging night.

And then a gap between the clouds
Shafts of sunlight synthesise
Another side, there to behold
Right before my eyes.
