There’s another side of mysticism,
Hidden behind closed doors,
Skeletons in the cupboard,
A hound loose on the moors.

More mystic than magic,
Fabulous fount of friction,
Narrating untold stories,
More fantastic than fiction.

No one knows the stories,
We never wish were told,
That ripens in our memories,
Much more as we grow old.

Embellishing the good times,
Martyrdom and more,
Then the bullshit stories,
There are many more in store.

Missy, Missy good shoes,
Saving sinners lost,
Wishing for more accolades,
Regardless of the cost.

Piercing passing comment,
Obsessed by fixed ideas,
Saying it sincerely,
Masking momentous fears.

More fantastic than fiction,
Beware the truth can hurt,
Better to say nothing,
And always stay alert.

Craters found in compromise,
Deep as an abyss,
Thoughts that turn into lust,
The last time that we kissed.

Easing off the pressure,
The failing art of friction,
Amazing if we knew the truth,
More fantastic than fiction.
