Softly singing
Afore the dawn
Lapping bringing
A tonal yawn
Hissing on
The silver sand
Striking up
The morning band
Moved by the music
Of the sea
Nature’s mosaic
In perfect key
Accompanied by
The gull’s shrill call
The oceans sigh
My concert hall
Rolling and sighing
Chanting and crying
The strain is a sweet refrain
Waves out of reach
Crash on the beach
Cymbals reverberating
Echo’s sent
Then replying
A crescendo of sound
Has peaked
Then drowned
By the melody
Of the ebbing tide
A monotone splash
Then splintering crash
Music is nowhere else to be found
The sound of the sea
Randomly in perfect key
Water Music
As nature intended
The sound is soft and sweet
As waves clap and meet
A concert
