Goosebumps and joy,
Your smile
And warm hands
Touching me
Just because
I loved you
Like the earth loves the raindrops;
It was that kind of love.
Just because
We ran together,
You and I,
As the rain fell
All around
Cooling our skin,
Goosebumps and joy;
And your warm hands
Touching me.
I didn’t need to love you,
But I did.
Just because
My skin needed your touch,
Just because
It was that kind of love-
A raindrops and earth kind of love.
