Lilac Currents
❀
Beautiful darling,
sunshine-bathed bloom
in efflorescent meadow,
ivy-twined willow,
you are the nectar of the honeysuckle
on my tongue,
the breeze on my face
kissed with scent of gardenia.
Darling sweetheart,
your name sits
like sweet wine on my lips
red with vine blood,
sweet and soporific.
I could walk in lilac currents
feet in the stream
bathing you in wine-soaked dreams.
Sweetheart love,
the sun-warmed grass spreads beneath me
missing only the kiss of your skin
upon it.
Come and find me, angel,
and we can lay in the shade
in our private paradise
touching lips.
