The difference between
Loving someone who’s near
And have loved through distance
Is the height of Stars.
Ordinary people try to watch them
With their artificial eyes.
Who loves through distance knows
Sights will only be seen
With natural vision of hearts,
And not faking stellar movement
Along human’s flat and hollow minds.
When you love someone
Whom you can’t touch,
Stars follow you even during day time,
High above your favorite weather.
The celestial dome has its own shape
When you love some
Whose desires don’t touch you,
Don’t feel you,
Don’t know you.
Like the Stars,
They seem so near,
Right beneath
Your most hidden wish.
Like the Stars,
They guide you,
Through your darkest night.
Right beneath
Your most sacred dream.
But like the Stars,
They glide above your reality,
Pulling you down to the ground
As heavenly rain on land after drought.
They are there, in a blink.
But not there in your sleep.
They are there, on your breath.
But not there when you sweat.
When you reach,
They are only memories.
When you bleed,
They are inside your veins.
But not near, not next
Nor nest…
You have to be a starman
In order to love the Stars.
