Winter Night

Winter night creeps in
From under the blanket
Like a tiny spider gliding down
Or a lazy fish diving in.

Winter night has a bright sky
But the stars have wrapped themselves
With the shining from the moon
Bathing in the darkness.

Winter night is so cold
That we need to put up the fireplace
Warm our throats with a glass of wine
And the warmth of our embrace.

Winter night is always so memorable
For it brings us more closer
Eyes locked into eyes, arms wrapped around the others’
Hearts melting and mixing with each other’s.
