Fate Expectations

expectations are the blemish on my face
wild emotions produce this disgrace
planning and stress spearhead this fall
five looks at my phone, not even a call

controlling is described by a select few
unassuming and flow used to get me through
I hope it’s not age that has caused this pimple
I’d settle for crows feet and a weathered dimple
