When society thinks of success,
The majority neglect happiness.
These shallow people all worried of money,
Instead of relaxing with a buddy.
Don’t let the TV get to me.
Let my own thoughts thrive.
Before they’re called up and said to be,
With addictions, supposedly alive.
I know they’re my friends,
But some look to get a head.
Pushing other feelings aside,
Using selfishness as their drive.
It should not be about you, me, in this society.
Collectively, WE, should be valued as our propriety.
