Caught between the mind and the heart

Walking on a thin wire

A mis step and I fall into the crept

Surrounded by flames and fire

But what lies in front I try to see without a blink

Inspite of nearly slipping and rising again

It’s just a mirage of an unattainable goal don’t you think

Of two lovers playing pretend

Why not shed the chains of ego and expectation

And accept the love in our hearts for each other

For this will keep us going towards liberation

For we are the most strongest by staying together
