Circe

I strive on to find my light

No longer will I be swallowed by the night

Slowly learning to live again

That is my path

It’s harder to do when I fell so far

My heart torn and flung afar

Like Circe I was exiled

And on an isle I found my power

Now I needn’t cower for

I made friends with wild beasts

Harvested the Moon

And cast spells

so with ancestors I could commune

And my heart and soul they attuned

Pieced together, gone was my wound.
