Killer’s Dance

In the still of night, where shadows creep,
A twisted mind, awoken from sleep.
With a grin that chills the very soul,
He stalks the streets, playing his role.

A blade in hand, so sharp, so keen,
Reflecting moonlight's silver sheen.
His footsteps silent, his breath a hiss,
Hunting for the next moment of bliss.

The city sleeps, unaware, at peace,
As he moves among them, a dark disease.
His heart, a void, devoid of remorse,
He charts his course, a deadly force.

Eyes wild with a feverish glow,
He finds his prey, a fatal blow.
A scream cut short, a life now stilled,
The killer's void, temporarily filled.

But the hunger grows, it never fades,
A cycle of madness, in the night's shades.
Each victim's fear, a sweet perfume,
In this macabre dance of doom.

So lock your doors, keep the lights bright,
For the killer lurks just out of sight.
And pray you're not the chosen one,
When the psychotic dance has just begun.
