Whispers from the Divine
A Poem
My beloved, the Divine speaks in mysterious ways
His prayers He sings
To His neighbor a whisper He brings
Storms shall thunder
And stars twinkle
But echoes afar
Pure and woven
Riddle a choir in the world we see
My beloved, I will tell you a story about a benevolent neighbor.
A neighbor whispered a sigh.
Does the door not open to thy?
In the stillness of darkness, be I
Follow the light in a silent cry.
Wings of kindness lead the way.
Be not heartbroken this day.
Words I chant do not betray
For the gate is not hidden, in a song I say.
With every glance, he healed her woe
Hear my promise, and you shall know
The beacon you see bears a path aglow
The hand I lend, my trust I bestow.
With each passing season and every smile
Glimmered a faith, a soul so mild
A calm embrace for an endless while
Bountiful acts stretching an eternal mile.
Her garden’s bloom, now full of colors unlike before
More than she could ever dream of, lived just next door
So strong and precious, her gentleness he bore
A gift from Heaven, a guardian angel’s lore.
