Mole Poem #2

There are still lighthouses, at least a few,
with beaver scraps on the floor:
some undeniably useful tools.
My eyes turned bad at looking at words
when they took my visa away in Antwerp.
I was 0–10 in not screwing up
right up to your Mexican restaurant seizure.

I edit the “Mole” Wikipedia entry every other day.
It could pay off like the natural resources, data lakes, and enzymes pumping out Amoxicillin.

He always said, “It’s better to carry a whale
in a thimble than a sandwich in a pail,”
but he was really old and had peacocks,
so he can’t be trusted with ad hoc advice.

“I wish you were my cousin, so I would be forced to hang out with you” (best compliment I've received).
