Nap Winter

There’s an uptick in aliens in the winter

Despite the bad weather for UFOs.

University specimen draws lose fewer implants

Around Presidents’ Day, no chocolates or cards.

Make the transuranic scalpels more available,

So there’s no waiting list for patients.

Cows, as well, have the right to subliminal data

Whizzing through enormous eyes in the grass.

The committed will double down under blankets

With no foreseeable income on the horizon

And magnetized home security systems

Shorting out between defunct corn farms.

“I wish you were my cousin, so I would be forced to hang out with you” (best compliment I've received).
