Shared Melody

A Poem

maybe
in circular circumscription
we tie each other up
in rounds
roll merrily along
shared melody silent
to the hills alive
with our presence

music
is what i feel

within the limits we have
created for the transport
of our belongings
up steep terrain
in the face of rain
snowed under with burning
passion for the climb

that hill is our playground
for the current chapter
we are in
summited and peaked
we ride together
on a plateau tableau
painted with our strokes
splash the patterns
enveloped in movement
skin of canvas moist
from expulsion of
mountain air

together here is the place
where nature brought
us to cohabit
this life full of trifles
root substantively in the
soil of mutual growth
and never depart

with the strains of
shared melody silent
to the hills alive
with our presence.
