A Zeno Kind of Day

Morning quiet seagull flies by
coastal fog waits
the time
sun
shakes the blanket
when gray
runs
down the canvas
angels
spun
Ocean today reflects my mind
distance settled
on shore
breaks
a little wave
for the
sake
these words
make
fisherman stands upon the shore
casting lines in
bounty’s
seas
no cubicles
he is
free
faith in God his
children
eats
Bent over in fields aplenty
they pick my food
it’s their
lot
my ego scoffs…
