soft flouncy hem of a dream

being seen in light

woven through cotton and earth

all pieces of love’s fabric

This poem is inspired by a dress hanging on the end of a rack outside a shop. It waved like a flag to all who passed by. My friends and I admired it. But on that day it belonged to Amy. Her husband told her he saw it and knew she would love it. I imagined he already pictured her in it, and she looked beautiful.

Here is a poem I really connected with by Anthea Jones . :)
