It is time for another Poetry Playground Prompt! Last week’s prompt was rather tricky but received many wonderful responses. This week the prompt is a theme.

I am currently on holiday enjoying the stunning scenery of Dorset. It is a special place to me as somewhere I have always holidayed, and where my husband and I were married.

Yesterday I took my kayak down to the beach and did one of my favourite paddles — from Knoll Beach to Old Harry Rocks. I have written about this paddle before:

Today, we went to the beach and I spent time reading a book. Then we wandered into town and had cake! What an amazing way to spend a day!

Being in one of my favourite places has inspired this week’s prompt. Write a poem about a favourite holiday* destination.
