Poetry Playground Writing Prompt #36
“An old, Tudor-like place.” (Anyone know which film I might be quoting?)
It is time for another Poetry Playground Prompt!
Last week’s prompt led to lots of brilliant poetry. There were some unexpected ones!
This Week’s Prompt
My husband and I visited Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire today. Built in the early 1500s, it has stood for 500 years. That is an impressive achievement!
This week, the picture above is the prompt. Or maybe you want to focus on the geometry of the garden and write a poem about shapes. Use the image as loosely or closely as you wish.
If you want an added challenge, you can write a sonnet, as Shakespeare might have visited Little Moreton Hall (very unlikely, but possible).
