Picture colored by me.

Out on the sea
I saw a boat
White sails standing tall
Seagulls flying in the air
I liked the most of all
Up and down, back and forth
The boat did sail away
“Come back,” I yelled out to the sea
“Come back another day.”

I wrote this poem a long time ago when my children were little. When I read the prompt for today I thought of it and went back to find it. Life passes by quickly. Take time along the way to enjoy the simple things like watching a boat sail by.

While you are here please take the time to read the following poem by Nancy S Rust
