Death prevailed. We were too weak against it

We lost countless lives until someone said

‘Let us turn death against the animals’

We bred for killing, and we killed millions

This kept death busy for the longest time

We grilled the meat, devoured it with relish

We grew older, taller, and healthier

But death followed every morsel of meat

Into our bodies and deep in our souls

Causing the most disastrous maladies
