Sunrise and blue skies,

The dead trees sleep in Winter,

Ghostly branches dream.

I wrote this haiku thinking about how the trees in winter all look dead. The trees may look dead but they are simply in hibernation and awaiting a new spring so the can continue their natural cycle. Even in winter the trees still look beautiful. I hope you liked it!
