Adapt and so I must say,
“I will keep the darkness at bay.”

Starting a new semester;
I have survived the calendars. What’s so tough?
Adapt — Not to worry, all is fine, and
liveliness will be secured, though they are worried
I’m just distracted. It’s alright.

Changing to a new house;
I have moved several times since childhood. What’s so rough?
Adapt — A roof on top of me, and
there’s no likelihood I would not survive;
brothers by my side. I’m alright.

Finding a new lover;
I have seen love through multiple lenses. What’s not enough?
Adapt — A newcomer will not be the same.
Let me be a lost piece for now.
Focus on myself. Everything’s alright.

I’m not so good at moving on, but moving along
is a must to carry on with life.
There’s no cryptic message, only
the unwanted experiences kept on eluded.

Adapt and so I must say,
“I will keep the darkness at bay.”
