Outside like an apocalypse
The sirens pass, the crunch of glass…

I do not remember the last time I exhaled,
My inhalations gather mud in my lungs,
pain has prevailed.

Every step a dagger to the foot,
Bare and bleeding feet on nails,
And the tree roots seem to strangle my soul
Rather than lend…
