Apocalypse city iStock illustration by Grandfailure

Calamity falling from the sky
famine and plague’s destruction arrives
microchips ruling the earth
Technology can’t save what's been ruined at birth

Life drowning caused by water and wind
Luke 21 predicts the end of all things
Armageddon is near its clear through whirlwind
Quakes shaking the world eternal resting

Immediate chaos overpowering fear and anxiety
Maximum carnage inevitable and irreversible catastrophe
Death and extinction created by man
Sickness not health while living in swamp land

One question remains
We look for answers in pain
Little time to rejoice
Did we ever have a choice?

Evil is to live as Devil is to have lived
The big dragon takes over incorporates his belief in one God
Currency marked by the symbol
Its purpose to breath fire as humanity sobs

It’s beautifully horrible
Effortlessly deplorable
21st century oracles
Speaking directly to God

Allow me to part seas
Like Moses did the red
But please don’t erase my sins
Let me learn from them instead
