Breathe
Heart’s beating like sea waves
Against high cliffs
Feel free to be the buzzing bee around my ears
My spirit is slowly acclimatising itself to those wet sheets
And I’m swimming where icy waters meet
Lie me down
Allow me to wreathe my head with wildflowers
As I swing before the high tide
In my white gown
From dusk to dawn
I thought I was gone
Like a dog without a bone
Then I start selling parts of my inner self
Suddenly shape-shifting into clones
Playing strange games with those around me
Like fictional characters out of a book, a play
Looking for an author, a page where to stay
They want him/her to make them alive
For they really want to know
What it feels like to be alive
That’s why s/he sifting through the dark field
Of his/her human mind
