A Eulogy

In memory of the girl who stood, fearless on the stage,
Of a soul that touched without hesitation,
In memory of a love that knew no bounds,
Of a tale that transcended time,
In memory of dreams and hopes, still waiting to bloom.

But beneath society’s harsh and shallow gaze, she faltered,
Where beauty was defined by unattainable ideals,
Her body, scrutinized and shaped by others' expectations,
The weight of their judgments crushed her spirit,
In memory of the strength that broke but never shattered,
In memory of a heart that learned to hide its scars,
Of a light dimmed by the shadows of a world unkind.
