Unwritten Thoughts
This night is motionless
But my mind is restless
In this static silence,
A commotion of thoughts spreads
A lightning of ideas just flashed
And the words swirl to form clouds
But those clouds fade away,
It seems they might pour tomorrow
They did not rain today
Conversations with myself
Tonight, there is no sleep
Today, there is only contemplation
There’s nothing to say to anyone
There’s nothing to hear from anyone
Tonight is only for listening,
To self, about oneself,
That is how this night will pass
