Nonverbal Children: Poetry
In silence dwells a world unknown,
Where words retreat and dreams are sown.
The souls of children, whispers kept,
In silent realms, they’ve deftly stepped.
Nonverbal beings, graced with might.
Their voices dimmed, yet eyes alight.
A symphony of gestures they compose,
To tell their tales, their hearts expose.
In eyes that shimmer like twilight skies,
A universe of wonders lies,
With tender smiles and teardrops sweet,
Emotions dance in patterns neat.
Their hands, like paintbrushes, they sway,
Weaving tales in an intricate display.
Each stroke conveys a cherished thought.
A masterpiece of love is wrought.
In gentle touches, warmth resides.
A language all their own abides.
Affection, comfort, softly traced,
In wordless realms, connections based.
Precious beings, pure and true,
You teach us what it means to view,
The beauty that transcends mere words.
A song of love, unseen and heard.
In patient spaces, hearts entwine.
A world where words need no define.
For in the silence, we unfold.
The depths of love, in bonds, we hold.
Do not let silence hide their grace,
For in their presence, we embrace,
The power of a love that’s pure,
A connection that will endure.
In nonverbal hearts, hope gleams bright.
They navigate their path with light.
Their spirits strong, their souls set free.
In wordless realms, they dance with glee.
