Can we round up all the mean, green, purple and checkered trolls
the ones with no hearts and castrated souls
and teach them about the moon and the stars,
love and life on earth?
If you think the shoe will never fit and nothing will ever change, you may be right…
unless you are lucky enough to walk the plank and live beyond this mirrored rambunctious lifetime
to swim in crimson sunsets,
surf crystal waves of words
and unravel endless questions
of an expanding universe
and a hungry endless tide.
There is serenity in the midst of chaos.
There is beauty in the creases of the soul.
There is poetry even in the seams of an angry perforated world.
And even within its imperfection,
we hit the perfect wave,
we find the perfect fit.
