Sorrow, Love, and Resilience
A Poem

Through landscapes drenched in rain and hearts shattered, this poem narrates a tale of sorrow, love, and resilience.
This desolation
Persists
The sound of a guitar
In the rain
Destroyed the white horses
At dawn, a gusty wind
Devastated the orange blossoms
Of spring.
Love
Destroyed a man
In the rain
Early winter
Devastated a red rose
I gave my hand
Into her hand
So that my hand
Would not be ruined
My heart was ruined
Next to the ruined heart
I lit a candle
The wind
Extinguished the candle
The wind
Destroyed the pages of the calendar
From times gone by
Women
With broken hearts
Went to watch
The almond blossoms
And
Violets
