The House On The Hill

The house on the hill,
Unsure of who lives inside
Beautiful scenery,
So far and so wide.
It can look eerie
On a cold winter’s night.
Lights on and off
With no person in sight.
We all keep away
For there’s been story’s told.
If they’re true or they’re not,
You would have to be bold.
To venture the hill
And to knock at the door.
For people who do
Haven’t been seen anymore.
I like to write from experience and with authenticity, and hope it resonates with others 😊
