Unfilled Well.

I wish I had all the answers.

To fill your dreams at night,

So that when you awake,

Your steps are atop clouds and flower beds,

But does love have meaning without heartbreak?

Does life have value without loss?

Are triumphs fulfilling without risks?

Yes. The lack of something is not what creates a thing.

It all exists, but somewhere along the way we lost interest,

In all the things that just were.

We became complete in longing.

Longings that we’ve always had filled,

but only now care to recognize.
