I would like to carry
Seeds in my pocket -
Wildflowers
Sunflowers
Poppies

And sow them surreptitiously
Through a hole
Made just for that purpose

Tumbling down my pant leg
Leaving trails
Of delicate petals
Bobbing behind me
Wherever I go

And when I finally lay down
May my body become
Fertile soil
From which
All flowers spring
