Heartache

Love was not just a thing
And you,
You were not just a fling.

I have heard a lot about heartbreaks,
But never did I feel how much they ache

You know, I still talk to you.
Like I am looking into your eyes
They are not grieving,
Then why should I, I ask?

Now that you are gone,
Life is a little dull
Moon doesn't shine that much
Stars lost their luster.

I know I'll find someone too one day
Maybe I won't love her as you;
Rather,
A little more dearly, I say.

For she's gonna be fierce, loyal and sane
And I'll be pieces all over the place.
She will dust every piece off, put back into place .
A broken beauty, she'd say.
What a sight it'd make!

A perfect love,
Isn't?

A dreamer. I write to delve deep into the truths. I read to provide food to my soul. An aberration trying to be usual.
