A nugget of joy

Happiness is a small nugget of joy,

part of our lives, but never the whole,

happiness is a guest, arriving and leaving,

making memories during the stay,

happiness keeps us from falling apart,

being there just enough to pull ourselves together,

happiness can never be a goal,

because it’s found only on the way,

happiness is creating, remembering and repeating,

happiness cannot be touched,

but it does touch all our lives,

and its for that touch that we strive,

often getting lost than not.
