A Sailor’s Promise

Sailor on high tides a promise does
His return it tells, of the untold voyage
And awaiting eyes, the promise they bleed
To love when he returns, like salt and sand;

Deep from where moon kisses the ocean
He returns to her awaiting embrace
The promise upon his setting foot
Is washed away, in arms of another as
Sand bleeds into the rising moonlight.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
