A star returns

If a star misses a friend too long
Loosing little bits of light
With each passing second
The universe darkened by
Longing. Unsatiated longing.
And when that star finally returns
Lighting up all the milky ways
We loose a tiny bit of brilliance
Of unveiled universal mysteries
In the absurdity of ignorance
Plaguing our lives everyday.
