When will you agree
Not a single, not a one
of your ethnicities, your traditions
or religions or nationalities
is, ever was, or could be an absolute.
You build things
upon things made of complex strings
absorb and reverb a billion words
demand and demand that we all comply
with the truths and the lies in the twisted ties
of the strings to the things you’ve absorbed in words
then reverbed and reverbed so that instead
of what it is that we see
or what we want to see,
we instead see the
fabricated authenticity
we see the pseudo-verity
of your concocted unity.
That is not a single, not a one
and when will you agree.
