With all the talk of self-love
Can I accept
The marks that I wish would go away

Can I count them beauty
The beauty I never professed to possess

Can I count them seals
Of love letter
From the sun I communed with so dearly

How do I move past
the limited perception of “beauty” and “flaw”
Prison that kept me bound

With reverence and awe
Can I see my age spot
Just like I see flies transform
Scales falling from my eyes
