All Maybe If And Until Then Never Again

All the world held to ransom
All the children left to cry
All the pain and all the passion
We’ll try anything to get by

Maybe we’ll find forgiveness
Maybe they’ll find the reason why
Maybe you’ll get religion
And sleep forever in the sky

If you’re rich you can dream it
if you’re poor then you can scream
If you’re the way the world is now
We won’t know what either means

And someday peace is coming
And someday peaches and cream
And someday the wealth of nations
Maybe more will drive our dreams

Until then we all stand hostage
Until then the children die
Until then it’s all for nothing
It just won’t matter what we try

Never again the tears at Dapchi
Never again as at Chibok
Never again not after Parkland
Never again to run amok
Never again to lose our children
Only until we say never again
