Allen the Alpaca,
lived in Delaware,
in a place called Alapocus.

He only had one coat to wear,
and even if he wanted to,
his wrap he could not share.

Allen loved riding the school bus
and all his friends did too.
If it was late then, Allen raised a fuss

On Saturdays in Alapocus,
Allen had a magic show,
just so he could say the phrase, hocus pocus

After high school, Allen went to college.
He received some financial aid.
His intent was to increase his knowledge.

Allen became a teacher.
On animal science, he would pontificate.
He should have been a preacher.

Allen lived an ordinary life.
Raised his little herd of Alpacas,
so well behaved, never causing strife.

They went to church on Sundays.
Prayed for all God’s four legged beings.
Then back to work on Mondays.

Well, that’s the story,
of Allen, the Alpaca,
a fine chap and ever so, Hunky dory.
