An Ode To ‘Those Days’
There was a time
We had our trysts with nature
Those long bicycle rides
Over an endless curvature
There was frivolous banter
We had loads of fun
A gang of young kids
Was on the run
We lived our games
Thrived in the park
Called out our names
Loud in the dark
Small triumphs were cherished
We would yell and fight
Our friendship never perished
It was our right
Unruffled by logic
We could conquer the world
Back in those days
Our emotions unfurled
