My spirit unravels
to find wholeness
My heart breaks
for the company
of its own pieces
This is madness —
loneliness
But at least I am clear
in my intention

But you?
How can anyone
be so vague!
You are like
fog on the brain
Your attention
and your rejection
feel the same —
Selfishness
by different names

But you!
My love, you
Nobody sees me like you
Nobody touches me like you
Nobody makes me want to change,
to grow, to finally know why I’m here,
to find joy in the simplest places, simply because
you smile. This is why the world keeps turning, this is why
the sun keeps burning — because of you I’ve dived into the deepest wound,
and though I have been burned alive, you’ve shown me, love, the ashes rise!
