Ashes Collide

There will come a time when ashes collide

Meaning I’m not dead anymore

Making my way back to life

Would be the overcoming of fire I’m willing to cease

And the acceptance of my friendly grief

Forsaken inner world

Betrayal of what I hold dear

Forgotten tears of the past

Suddenly alone as ashes vanish in the wind.
