Barbed Strands

Intertwining vines restrict
Motion through dark

Wooded confines:
The passage of wisdom

Cuts across barbed
Strands of truths

Taking hold against
A fragile mass

Slashing one branch
To make progress

As the tight strangle
Grows back; more robust,

More dense, obscuring
A gorgeous view

Of reality. Unmistakable,
If only liberated

To deeper bondage:
Abandon becomes

Myself to plant
Crafted seeds in

Your relinquished soil
Of infinite imagination.
